The 'JT Blazer' Ipé Pipe

by North on Sixty

After one sitting with our JT Blazer, you'll likely agree that it’s the best drawing, most indestructible, and indispensable pipe you have ever owned.

Why ipé, you ask? Its extreme hardness means you’re never going to be 'smoking', i.e. tasting, the ipé itself — only the flower or hash in the bowl. Ipé is the hardest commercial wood in the world at 3600 on the Janka hardness scale — twice as hard as our sugar maple, which is the hardest North American tree. (In fact, ipé has a class A fire rating, allowing it to be used as cladding on the side of buildings.) The pipe is made from ipé deck wood scraps that we have accumulated over twenty years of construction. It is fitted with a stainless steel screen for a clean, extra long life. Price includes shipping & handling, plus a money-back guarantee should you not be 100% satisfied.
